Hyderabad University Admission Counselling 2024

Reporting & Attendance: Centre for Integrated Studies Building Lobby, All candidates called for admission counselling must sign the attendance register at the counters in front of the CIS building. Candidates listed in multiple merit categories must sign all relevant attendance sheets. Those shortlisted for various programs need to sign attendance sheets for all the programs they’re shortlisted for.

Counselling Desk: Only candidates who have signed the attendance will be called for admission counselling in merit order. Those offered a seat will receive an Admission Counselling slip specifying seat allotment and should then proceed to the document verification desk in room 119/121. Candidates shortlisted for multiple programs may wait until the counselling for their preferred program is complete to finalize admission.

Verification Desk: Room No. 119, Candidates must report to the Counseling/Admission desk as directed by the officials. All documents listed in the checklist (Annexure I) will be verified, and the original TC/Migration certificate will be collected.

Payment of Admission Fee and Issue of Conditional Admit Card: IT LAB Candidates offered admission after document verification will be shortlisted in the Samarth Portal and will receive a payment link via email. The admission fee can be paid through Samarth Login in the IT LAB opposite the Verification desk. After completing all formalities and payment, candidates must remain in the IT LAB or Lobby as instructed to receive their Admit Card.

Hostel Admission: Office of Chief Warden, IT LAB, After completing admission formalities and receiving the Conditional Admit Card, students seeking hostel admission should report to the Hostel Admission Desk in the IT LAB in the CIS building.

General Information and Instructions to Candidates: Officials at the counselling venue will provide instructions. Candidates can seek clarification from officials as needed. Only candidates are allowed in the counselling venue, though parents may enter after a seat is offered to complete admission formalities if necessary. Candidates must stay until the counselling process is over; absence will result in forfeiture of their seat to the next candidate. If a candidate shortlisted for multiple programs declines a seat in one program, they must wait for counselling in their preferred program. Latecomers will not be allowed to sign or participate in counselling. All instructions in the Admission Counselling Notification and General Instructions must be strictly followed.

MSc Biotechnology Admission at the University of Hyderabad invites applications from candidates with GAT-B 2024 scores.
