BHU LLB Admission 2025-26: 10 February 2025 will be the registration last date of BHU LLB Admission Test 2025-26, NTA will conduct the entrance examination for admission to a three-year law program. NTA will conduct the entrance examination for BHU LLB 2025. Both online and offline exam applications are accepted. Students must register online only for the BHU-LLB entrance examination in August 2025. MCQ questions are the only questions in the BHU LLB Exam (CUET PG) 2025.

BHU LLB Admission 2025-26

Banaras Hindu University offers Law courses, Interested students who completed 10+2 Graduation/Post-graduation through the open university system directly without having any basic qualification for pursuing such studies shall not be eligible for admission to a 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission are not below 50% of total marks in the case of general category applicants, 45% in the case of OBCs, and 40% in the case of SCs & STs students.

BHU LLB Hons Admission 2025-26

For BHU admission to the LLB Hons course, Banaras Hindu University conducts the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) annually during July 2025. LLB Hons. Admission is based on merit in the UET, provided eligibility criteria are met and seats are available. Candidates must remember the minimum eligibility requirements, Candidates must have completed a BA, BSc, BCom, or Shastri degree with at least 50% marks. Alternatively, any degree following the 10+2+3 pattern recognized by the Bar Council of India for LL.B. admission is acceptable, provided the candidate has secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks as specified above. 10 February 2025 is the last date of BHU LLB Hons Admission 2025-26.

Note: According to the Bar Council of India, candidates who have obtained their 10+2 or Graduation/Post-graduation degrees through open university systems without any prior basic qualifications are not eligible for admission to Law courses.

BHU BA LLB Hons Admission 2025

For admission to the BA LL.B. (Hons) (Five Year/Ten Semester) course, Banaras Hindu University conducts the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) in the 3rd or 4th week of May annually. Admissions are merit-based, subject to eligibility and seat availability.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed or be appearing for Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized institution. Minimum marks required: 50% for General, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST. Open University graduates need prior qualifications to be eligible.

Course Details: Faculty of Law, 30-60 seats, INR 60,000 per annum plus university fees.

Entrance Exam: A 120-minute paper with 150 multiple-choice questions on General Awareness, Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Mental Ability, and English comprehension, totaling 450 marks.

BHU LLM Admission 2025-26

Banaras Hindu University holds one Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) every year in May or June for admission into three different types of LL.M. courses. BHU LLM Admission 2025-26 are based on PET scores, the choices made by candidates, their eligibility, and the number of available seats in each course. The three types of LL.M. courses are:

1. LLM (General)
2. LLM (HRDE)
3. LL.M (1 Year) (Under Special Courses of Study)

BHU Law PhD Admission 2025-26

BHU PhD Law Admission 2025-26 will be done through Common Research Entrance Tests (CRET) in July 2025. PhD Law Admission is made according to the CRET merit list and eligibility criteria. Those candidates who qualified for the NET / JRF are exempted from the CRET Exam.

BHU LLB Entrance Exam and Exam Pattern

The BHU LLB entrance exam syllabus covers aptitude and mental ability, common legal knowledge, general awareness, current affairs, and language comprehension- English and Hindi. BHU announced that semester exams in 2025 will be conducted online and offline. BHU LLB 2025 is an entrance exam for eligible applicants to study law at the university level. The NTA will announce the full BHU LLB entrance examination schedule along with the admission notification soon. BHU will conduct its LLB entrance exam in the third week of August 2025.

Entrance Exams for Law School

• CLAT: Application fees range from INR 3,500/—to 4,000/—rupees. The Consortium of NLUs has announced a postponement for CLAT 2025. The deadline for submitting CLAT application forms for 2025 has also been extended to May 9, 2025. 
• KLEE: Kerala’s Commission of Entrance Examinations (CEE Kerala) plans to release the application form for KLEE 2025 online by the second week of March. The exams will be administered online in Kerala using computer-based testing.  
• The application form for AP LAWCET 2025 will be available on the official website during the second week of March 2025. As soon as the application form is submitted, the authorities will issue a student’s admit card for LAWCET 2025.
• AIBE: The AIBE 17 application form for 2025 will be released online around the first week of March 2025. 100 objective-type questions will be asked from various subjects of the LLB program. 
• The Panjab University’s LLB entrance examination is scheduled for the third week of July. The application for the LLB 2025 program will open online in the 4th week of April. The entrance exam is conducted for those seeking admission to the university’s three-year LLB program.

BHU LLB Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria should be made known to all interested students. Students who do not know the eligibility criteria will not fill out the BHU application form because the application will be automatically rejected. 

• Students must have completed the BA, BSc, or BCom in the pattern of 10+2 and any three-year graduation, or any other equivalent degree from a recognized university. 
• Students must have passed or appeared in the 10+2 to be eligible for an LLB course.
• To apply to LLM, students must enroll in a 3 to 5-year LLB course at an accredited university.
• Students who apply for a PhD must pass the CRET, which the university administers.
• Students should have graduated from a recognized university or institute in any discipline. 

BHU LLB 2025 Application Form

The CUET application form will be released, and the entrance exam will be scheduled. The university entrance test is expected to be conducted in May 2025. The BHU Entrance Exam 2025 application form will be available online on the university’s official website. Students can fill it out in full detail. 

The admission application fee is INR 300/—to 600/—rupees for all students. Students are required to pay the application fee after filling out the application form. The BHU Law Entrance Exam will be conducted offline, but students can apply online. Application forms for BHU will be released online at the NTA’s examination portal. The eligible students must register for BHU LLB 2025 and fill out the application form.

BHU LLB 2025 Syllabus 

BHU LLB syllabus provides detailed information about possible exam questions. For the BHU LLB entrance exam, 120 minutes will be allocated. For the entrance exam, prepare with the BHU LLB 2025 syllabus. There are four sections in the BHU LLB syllabus. Questions will be multiple-choice in each section. A syllabus for the BHU LLB 2025 entrance examination has been released. BHU LLB Results and Counselling 2025

The official website of BHU LLB 2025 has been updated with the results. The NTA BHU LLB 2025 results will be available online as a scorecard. Students will see their name, sectional marks, overall marks, and roll number in the BHU LLB 2025 result. BHU will receive the results of the BHU LBB 2025 to use them for admissions and counseling.
