JNU Admission 2025-26: The online registration process for JNU Admission to the UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate and PhD courses will start on 10 May 2025 on the official website of www.jnu.ac.in for the academic session 2025-26. The admission process to most of the offered courses will be based on entrance test such as CUET, CAT, JEE, UGC NET, etc. The expected last date for JNU Admission 2025-26 will be 31 May 2025.

Note: JNU Admission 2024-25 has been closed on 30 September 2024 for all the offered courses.

Jawaharlal Nehru University was established in 1969 as one of India’s largest public research universities. Jawaharlal Nehru University course admissions such as BA, BBA, MA, MCA, Diploma in Medical Record Technology, and Ph.D. (Canadian Studies). JNU PG Admission 2025-26 is going to start soon and the deadline for submitting the registration form is 31 May 2025. All students seeking admission into the PG and ADOP programs must complete their registration process by filling out the application form before the deadline. JNU PG Courses such as Advanced Diploma in Mass Media(ADOP), MA, MSC, MCA, MTech, MPH, and PG Diploma through CUET-PG last date is 31 May 2025. JNU MTech Admission 2025-26

JNU MTech Admission 2025 is done through CUET PG 2025, and deprivation points earned by the eligible candidates are taken together. For admission to JNU, the candidates must apply SEPARATELY after the declaration of CUET (PG) – 2025 result. JNU offers MTech Admission in various categories such as MTech (Computer Science & Technology), MTech in Data Science, MTech in Nano Science and MTech in Nano Electronic. Students note that MTech admission to Nanoscience/ Nanoelectronic will be based on an All India Computer-Based Test (CBT). Admission will be offered to candidates who are finally selected based on their performance in the CBT.

JNU MSc Admission 2025-26

Graduate Aptitude Test- the Regional Centre has declared Biotechnology (GAT-B) results for Biotechnology on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Jawaharlal Nehru University invites applications from eligible candidates who have appeared in GAT-B 2025. To Apply online for JNU MSc Admission 2025-26, applicants can log in to the website @jnuee.jnu.ac.in and have to register themselves.

1. MSc in Biotechnology: Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical, Biological (Biochemistry / Bioinformatics / Biotechnology/Botany/Microbiology/Zoology), Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4 year BSc (Physician Assistant Course); MBBS/ BDS with at least 55% marks.
2. MSc in Computational and Integrative Sciences: A minimum of 55% marks in a Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Basic and Applied Science or Technology, including medicine and engineering disciplines.

Admission to the JNU MSc programmes Biotechnology and Computational and Integrative Sciences should submit their application online at the website www.jnuee.jnu.ac.in. Must have appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B), conducted by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Each applicant applying for admission in these programmes must submit his/her GAT-B Registration Number, GAT-B Score, and rank. JNU will use the GAT-B score for admission to these programmes based on the category-wise merit list of candidates qualified through GAT-B-2025 displayed at https://rcb.res.in/. The merit list shall be prepared category-wise based on the score in GAT-B 2025 against the available seats in each category.

JNU MBA Admission 2025-26

JNU offers MBA courses in business management. The eligibility criteria for MBA admission is students must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. JNU MBA Admission is done through the Common Entrance Test (CAT) conducted by IIM. JNU uses CAT Score for shortlisting the students for group discussions and personal interviews.

JNU PhD Admission 2025-26

NU PhD Admission is done through the Entrance Examination and candidates qualifying in the CBT examination shall be called for viva voce Examination. Qualifying marks for the candidate belonging to General Category is 50%. Whereas, qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS categories is 45%.

The candidate who scores 50% and above for the General Category & 45% and above for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD/EWS in the computer-based test, does not automatically qualify for being shortlisted for the viva-voce. The weightage to CBT and viva voce examination is given as follows:

JNU Part-time PhD Admission 2025

JNU PhD part-time programmes permit up to 12.5% of the Ph.D. intake per School/Centre/Special Centre, ensuring that all conditions are met. Candidates must be employed in Government/UGC-recognized institutions within Delhi NCR. The University requires a “No Objection Certificate” from the candidate’s employer, stating the candidate’s permission to pursue part-time studies, the ability to dedicate time to research, and the provision to be relieved from duties for coursework completion.
