Oasis Scholarship 2024-25
Oasis Scholarship is a generous enterprise test designed by the West Bengal Government for the Scheduled Cast / Scheduled Tribes and OBC group of individuals who can’t afford or enroll in their respective courses.
The backward class welfare department and tribal development department of Kolkata are inviting applicants for the Online Oasis Scholarship 2024. SC/ST and OBC Students who have completed their 10th Standard. Thus, students from 11th Standard to postgraduate level with a family income of less than 2.5 lakh per annum can apply for the Oasis Scholarship.

Oasis Scholarship 2024-25 last date 30 September 2024. The Government of West Bengal has yet to release any official Oasis Scholarship’s last date of application. Still, there is a possibility that the last date of the Oasis Scholarship test will be 30 September 2024.
The announcement of the Oasis scholarship last date has led to a great pump in the addition of several applicants. The Oasis scholarship has been made available for all the applicants belonging to the before or after matric level students from scheduled groups (SC/ST/OBC). You can apply for the Oasis Scholarship, or you can re-apply your application on the official website; enrolment starts on 15 June 2024, and the Oasis Scholarship Last date will be 30 September 2024.
Oasis Scholarship 2024 Status Check
Oasis Scholarship status check 2024- the backward class welfare department and West Bengal’s joint efforts have launched an official online portal for the Oasis Scholarship Status check, from where every individual belonging to the SC/ST or OBC Category can go through the status of their application form and track its details.
Oasis Scholarship status check involves visiting the official website, www.oasis.gov.in, clicking on “Track n application”, filling in the empty credentials like the Aadhaar number, and then clicking on the Check status button.
Oasis Scholarship 2024 Amount
The educational program determines the amount of the grant, the student’s academic level, and whether the student resides on campus or commutes. For example, an SC girl in grades V-VI may receive Rs 100 per month as a merit scholarship, whereas an OBC student in grades XI and higher could receive up to Rs 20,000 per year as a post-matric scholarship.
The scholarship price offered through the Oasis Scholarship keeps changing depending on the class the applicants want to join. Apart from the class group, marks or percentages received and the financial group in which the students wish to enroll are also important in the selection process.
Pre-matric Scholarship for SC/ST students gets rewards equivalent to ₹150/monthly for 10 months with an Adhoc grant of ₹750 annually. Oasis Post matric scholarship for SC/ST students includes a maintenance amount of ₹550/month. This same scholarship reward scheme applies to medicine, engineering, BSc, MPhil, PhD, and LLM students. Students of class 11th, 12th, or in 10+2, polytechnic, or ITI will receive ₹230 monthly under the Oasis scholarship reward scheme. Oasis Scholarship Amount or reward will be more for hostellers.

Oasis Scholarship Eligibility
Oasis scholarship eligibility has been set by the government, where the applicants must meet specific essential criteria to enroll for the Oasis scholarship, and these vary for different categories of educational scholarship segments. Pre-matric scholarship for SC/St students must be studying in the 9th or 10th standard, and the annual income should not exceed ₹2 lakh per annum.
Whereas for the post-matriculation scholarship for SC/ST Students, they should be in senior secondary or post-matric level, and the family income should not exceed ₹250,000, and this amount should not exceed ₹100,000 per annum for the OBC applicants.

Can I apply Oasis and SVMCM both?
No, a student can only apply in one scheme at a time. Therefore you can not apply both schemes together or your application may reject in both scheme.
