In the last week of November, IGNOU will commence the admission procedure for Online BCom course into the January 2025 academic session. Students who are interested to enroll in the Online BCom course at IGNOU, they need to visit the Samarth portal of the university www.ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. IGNOU Online BCom admission 2025 last date will be 31 January 2025*.
If you want to pursue an Online BCom course, students must meet the eligibility criteria. You have passed 10+2 from the recognized educational board with a minimum of 50% marks. The university doesn’t conduct any entrance exams, so you don’t need to appear in any entrance examinations.

IGNOU Online BCom Admission 2025
IGNOU will start admission for the January 2025 session for online BCom in the last week of November (month). Students must have 10+2 from a recognized educational board to pursue an Online BCom course. The last IGNOU Online BCom admission date will be 31 January 2025*. Students must visit the university’s official portal to complete the admission process @ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.Â
IGNOU Online BCom Course Eligibility:
Applicants looking to pursue an Online BCom from Indira Gandhi National Open University must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. You must hold a 10+2 from any recognized educational board with a minimum of 50% marks.
IGNOU Online BCom Course Fees:
- Indira Gandhi National Open University’s online BCom fee is INR 4,000 per year and INR 12,000. This fee is only for Indian students.Â
- If any students belong to the SAARC countries, they need to pay INR 6,000 per year.
- For Non-SAARC students, the university charges USD 400 per year.
- Applicants need to pay the fee using an online mode of payment, such as a credit and debit card or Net Banking.

Documents Required for IGNOU Online BCom Course Admission 2025
Applicants must arrange all the mentioned documents for admission to an online BCom program in the January session. You need a passport-size colour photograph, your age proof, educational or academic qualification certificates, and your signature should be done with a black or blue pen only if any candidates (belong to a reserved category, experience letter or BPL certificate if applicable). Your recent photograph and signature size will not be more than 100kb, and the size of other documents will not exceed 200kb.
IGNOU Online BCom Online Admission Procedure:
- Applicants need to visit the university’s official portal, @ignouiop.samarth.edu.in, to start the admission procedure for the Online BCom course.
- Then click on the new registration button and create an account as a new user by entering your email ID and contact number.
- Now, IGNOU will send you a text message with login credentials on your phone.
- Log in with your credentials, fill out the application form, and enter your details, such as name, email, identity details, and more.
- Now upload your documents, including your photograph, signature, identity card, and more (keep in mind that the size of the photograph and signature must be no more than 100kb and the size of the other documents must be no more than 200kb). All the documents must be scanned.
- Now, you need to pay the registration and course fee using an online mode of payment. You can use a debit or credit card or net banking.
- Lastly, IGNOU will send admission confirmation mail to your Gmail account.
IGNOU Online BCom Exam Form Submission
3 November 2024 was the last date for IGNOU Online BCom exam form submission till 06:00 pm without a late fee to appear in the December Term-end examination. IGNOU has closed the exam form submission for the Online BCom course to appear in the December Term-end examination 2024.
Students need to complete the exam form by visiting the official portal, www.ignou.ac.in, or you can see the nearby regional or study center. You must submit an exam form to appear in the examination hall, so please complete the exam form submission before the mentioned deadline.
IGNOU Online BCom Assignment Submission
Indira Gandhi National Open University has commenced the assignment submission for the Online Bachelor of Commerce for the December Term-end examination 2024. 30 November 2024 is the extended last date for IGNOU Online BCom assignment submission.
Students need to visit the official portal of the university portal @ignou.ac.in to submit the assignment online and also you can visit nearby regional or study center for offline submission. The total weightage of assignments is 30% marks out of 100. So make sure students submit their assignments before the deadline.
