The Sahara refund portal was initiated to cope with losses incurred by Indian investors in various dubious financial schemes launched by the Sahara Group and its owner. The Sahara Refund Portal registration process guarantees a refund to the Sahara Group of Cooperatives Society investors 45 to 50 days after Registration on the Sahara Refund portal.
The Sahara refund portal will credit the initial payment of ₹5000 crores out of the Sahara SEBI refund account to the central registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) for payment of genuine creditors of the Sahara Group of the Cooperative society using the best possible and transparent method, proper scanning of the identities, proofs, and payment details.
Only claims filed online through the portal will be entertained. There is no fee for submitting the claim.

CRCS Sahara Refund Portal
Amit Shah announced that the initial payment of up to ₹10,000 will be disbursed to one crore investors who had deposited ₹10,000 or above. Following the ₹5,000 crore disbursement, a subsequent request will be issued to return the funds to other depositors in Sahara Cooperative Societies.
People who invested in the Sahara Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, and Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society before April 20222 can claim a refund. Only Online claims made on the Crcs Sahara refund portal will be entertained.
