On 19 June 2024, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and WB HEI announced the Centralised Admission Portal for the academic session 2024-25 for all the colleges and University admissions for better transparency. Through this Portal, students can apply for undergraduate course admission in 16 Universities and 461 Government and Government-aided affiliated Colleges. Candidates can apply online, through the following websites www.banglaruchchashiksha.wb.gov.in and www.wbsche.wb.gov.in.

WB Centralised Admission Portal 2024
Centralised Admission Portal from 2024-25 was announced on 19 June 2024 by Mamata Banerjee and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. Through the WBCAP Portal www.wbcap.in, students can access the 16 universities and 461 government colleges, including Govt. aided colleges and higher education institutes. Students can apply for the UG Admission for the academic session 2024-25 such as 4 Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Honours/Honours with research and 3 Year Multidisciplinary Programmes, B.C.A, BBA, B.ML.T, and BVoc courses are available in the portal. For those students who can’t pursue their future studies due to financial background, the WB government provides many scholarships to help the students such as the NSP Scholarship, SVMCM Scholarship, WBMDFC Scholarship, Aikyashree Scholarship, and Oasis Scholarship. The last date of WB Centralised Admission 2024-25 is 07 July 2024.

West Bengal Higher Education Department controls Government colleges and State Universities’ admission of students in undergraduate courses through an online Admission Portal 2024. WB Government announced the centralized admission portal for Undergraduate admission in all colleges/Universities under the HEI from the academic session 2024-25, webcap.in 2024, the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education shall maintain and operate the portal. Through www.wbcap.in without any hassle, students can do their courses’ admission process. Students remember that the webcam portal will be closed on 07 July 2024.
